General

  • Effective August 1, 2024, our office hours will be Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

  • We are pleased to offer a variety of free parking options:

    1. Underground Parking (Private)

    2. Gravel Parking (Private)

    3. Free Public Parking (Public)

  • Clients have the option to request various documents, including Service Certification, Clinical Letters, Progress Notes, and others. Please note that it may take at least 7 days to fulfill these requests, and payment must be made before we can begin preparing the requested letters or documents.

Payment

  • We currently offer direct billing for TRICARE and AFSPA (FSBP). Additionally, for insurance providers such as Blue Cross Blue Shield, BUPA, Cigna, GeoBlue, United Healthcare Global, VA (Foreign Medical Program), and others, we provide superbills to our clients after each session at no extra cost. If we are not partnered with your insurance provider, we are happy to assist by contacting them on your behalf to provide information on coverage details.

  • Receipts can be in English or Korean. Please inform our multilingual staff with what you need

  • As far as we know, Korean insurance companies do not cover therapy. If there is, please inform us!

  • We accept cash, credit cards, and wire transfer (Industrial Bank of Korea 기업은행 505-071156-04-011 I Care Counseling Center 아이케어 심리상담센터).

Services

  • We strictly follow professional and ethical standards as counselors to stay confidential.

  • We currently provide our services in English, Korean, Filipino, and Japanese.

  • Of course! Client - Counselor fit is an important factor in great counseling.

  • There are 60-minute sessions and 120-minute sessions. For each session, our therapists will need the last 7-10 minutes of your session to wrap up and summarize.

  • This would be depending on how quickly you get to achieve your goals. Some might need a few sessions to achieve what they need from counseling while others might need more time to enjoy their counseling journey.

  • Yes, we do offer online counseling through our SimplePractice Portal which is HIPAA compliant telemedicine platform.

  • These fees are being charged as our staff members worked to schedule your appointment and our counselors saved the time to see you and prepared your sessions.

    No Show: 100,000 KRW

    Late Cancellation: 50,000 KRW

  • We have our change of therapist option readily available for our clients. To do so, kindly contact us at info@icarecounseling.co

  • We cannot prescribe any form of medication as we are not psychiatrists. However, we can refer you to one of our partnered hospitals :)

  • Unfortunately, we do not offer crisis response service. However, there is suicide & crisis lifeline support from the base.
